To migrate from Wix to WordPress, set up WordPress on your hosting, move content through the Wix RSS feed or by rebuilding pages, recreate your design, map every Wix URL to its new WordPress URL, add 301 redirects, point your domain to the new host and submit a new sitemap in Search Console.
Businesses usually leave Wix for the same reasons: they want more control over speed, SEO and design, or they have simply outgrown the builder. The catch is that Wix does not offer a one-click export to WordPress. That makes the move a real project, and the redirects the most important part of it.
Step 1: inventory what Google knows
Export your pages from Search Console and crawl your Wix site. Blog posts on Wix often live under URLs like /post/your-title, which will change on WordPress. Every one of those needs a redirect.
Step 2: set up WordPress

Step 3: move the content
- Blog posts: the Wix blog RSS feed can be imported into WordPress, but check formatting and images afterward.

- Images: download originals, compress them and upload to WordPress.
